Virginia Voices International mission choir goes on mission trips each year, alternating between foreign and home missions.  2013 was a year for missions at home, and Charleston, SC was the location.  Believing that we can reach people for Christ, "one song at a time," during the week of July 14-20, the choir sang eleven concerts along with working on a one-on-one basis with youth in a sports camp, senior adults in a housing project, veterans in the Veterans' Administration Medical Center, a special presentation in Francis Marion Park, special meeting with boys at a nearby Boys' Ranch, and helping to paint a new church plant.           The purpose of the week was to touch lives through ministry in the name of Christ.  The songs and activities were intended to provide encouragement in living the Christian life.
